On this most memorable occasion the congregation stood as witnesses to 41 souls being added to the fold through the Act of Holy Sealing. After the conclusion of the divine service the Apostle took the time to greet the members present and engage in conversation with them.

On Wednesday 28 October 2009 Apostle J Stephens conducted a divine service in the congregation of Strand Gustrouw to which the neighbouring congregations of Strand North, Firland, Lwandle and Nomzamo were also invited.
