The Sunday school children of Europe congregation were in for a real treat when they arrived at their congregation at the crack of dawn on Saturday 5 December 2009.
This was the day that had been set aside for their end of the year outing which would see them visiting Knysna and Plettenberg Bay. The outing was a walk on the wild side with them being adventurous enough to hike in the wild with the Knysna elephant and fool around with the monkeys of Monkey Land. With their final stop in sight they excitedly made their way to the slip and slide and whizzed their way down, only to return as fast as they could to make it back in line for the next slide. The children certainly had a good time, so much so that no one wanted to leave the pool even with a delicious lunch having been prepared for them. Drastic steps had to be taken by luring them to the food stands with sweet treats. After soaking up the last rays of the sun they made their way back to George and professed to all that it was a fantastic day!
