| Retired ministers and wives in Devon Park |
 On Sunday 2 August 2009 the District Elder E Meyer invited all the retired ministers and their wives from Devon Park district to a divine service in Devon Park congregation.
During the course of this service adoptions also took place. After the divine service they gathered together in fellowship with one another and the active ministers expressed their gratitude to the retired ministers for all their labours of love in times gone.
