Members of the newly dedicated congregation of Beverley Park invited their community, family and friends to the first concert in their congregation on Sunday 25 October 2009 at 15:00. For this occasion the congregational choir, orchestra and Sunday school choir along with the visiting choirs from Mfuleni and Khayelitsha congregations presented a few musical items which served to the enjoyment of all present. During an interlude the attendees viewed a dvd presentation of the road travelled by the congregants until present where they now have their own church hall. The joy of the members was evident and this consequently created a warm and welcoming environment for their guests. The proceedings were concluded with the rendition of “We shall keep our faith alive” which was followed by refreshments for all in attendance.
