On the first Sunday of the new year, 3 January 2010, the congregation of Vredenburg South comprised of its resident members and the many visitors who had come to spend some holiday time on the beaches of the West Coast.

On this day Bishop P Kilian conducted a divine service in their congregation. During the divine service the choir prepared the way for five souls who have accepted our doctrine of faith through the Act of Adoption.
