Recycle for Life on the roll in Wolseley |
In the months preceding the launch of the Recycle for Life project in Wolseley congregation, the Sunday school teachers hosted a fund raising event.
The proceeds of this fund raising went towards the purchase of the Recycle for Life t-shirts which were handed out to the children during a fellowship activity on Friday 8 May 2009. During their time together, the teachers helped the children to make Mother’s Day cards.
The following day the children and their teachers met at the church yard sporting their yellow t-shirts and ready for a clean-up operation. They started in the church yard and took this project to the surrounding streets. They were so proud of their t-shirts that some were even spotted wearing them during the divine service on the Sunday.
