Apostle W Diedericks serves at home

On the evening of Wednesday 14 May 2008 Apostle W Diedericks served his home congregation, Swellendam, in the Riversdale bishop Area. For this service the apostle was accompanied by District Elder J Goliath and District Evangelist C Adams. This visit to Swellendam presented the apostle with the opportunity to interact with members of his “household”, among them retired Bishop V Atkins and his wife. After the divine service the congregants were pleased that the apostle spent some time with them in fellowship.

District Apostle serves in Railton

The congregation of Railton in the Riversdale bishop area got to experience much blessing with the visit of District Apostle NE Barnes for the evening service of Wednesday 27 February 2008. Accompanied by Apostle W Diedericks and the Bishops Adams, Witten and November, District Apostle Barnes took his place behind the altar with the sounds of hymn 129 “Oh come, eternal Spirit” echoing through the church. A congregation of some 400 members, including 35 visitors, experienced a sermon based on the text word according to Luke 21:34-35.
