Groot-Brak Primary worships with us

It has become a tradition for the staff and learners of Groot-Brakrivier Primary School to start their school year with a prayer meeting. For this purpose the principal of the school approached the New Apostolic Church to send a representative to open the school year in prayer. Subsequently on Wednesday 16 January 2008 Shepherd M Ferndale was in attendance at the school to pray with the learners and staff for a successful adademic year. On this occasion Shepherd Ferndale further extended an invitation to the staff and learners of the school to attend the divine service of Sunday 27 January 2008. He offered to ensure that transport be arranged for all who wished to be at the church service. All the staff members and some 160 learners attended this divine service and as this day was also the first day of Sunday school for 2008, some learners and their teachers also remained for the Sunday school lesson. At the conclusion of the divine service, a delighted headmaster, Mr Matthews, thanked the congregation and voiced his admiration for the Church and its members.
