Getting a head start on Christmas lunch| Print |
News - Seniors
The air was thick with the aroma of Christmas roast when the senior members from the congregation of Silvertown got a head start on Christmas with a lunch in honour of the season.
After the Sunday morning divine, 12 December 2010, the seniors along with the ministers and their wives joined the festive group at the Welcome Estate Community Hall. Upon arrival they were treated to a refreshing fruit drink and soon felt the rhythm of the music when they entered the hall, set up with a live band to entertain them all afternoon whilst they enjoyed the delicious meal prepared specifically for them.
